IMO the best two teams in Class 2,3,4 matchup next week.
Class 2 LN at Blair Oaks
Class 3 Maryville at Trinity
Class 4 Webb City at Ladue
Lamar had a great run but just dont't see the talent on this years team to win next week.

Anyone who has beats Kearney twice and Platte County in a four week span will have a say in class 4!
He explained why in the OP. He may be right. Lathrop is no joke. That's the big miss in the OP IMO.(And leaving out the Class 2 champion from the last seven years? Really???)

IMO having home field negates that. Team that plays closest to a clean game wins. Neither are setting the world on fire in that category lately. Only two teams have taken a game into the 4th with Lathrop. Not usual Lamar types by any means, but this isn't usual Lamar. Keep your eye on the kicking game. Lathrop seems to have a long distance PK as he kicked a near 40 yarder at the end of the 1st half the other night with plenty of room and a really good angle punter. You got to wonder having no big game experience before this year will effect a team going up against the most experienced group/coaches in the state. Holt is a amazing coach. So the coaches are pretty level. I just think if Lamar plays well. That’s a factor that could play into Lamar’s hands. The experience part.

Webb fans a few years back were happy there.Saw that the Maryville vs. Trinity game will be played at St. Mary's HS next Saturday.

Grass or Turf field at St. Mary's HS?

It is in fact a turf field.
Looks like turf.
Where did you find this info?Saw that the Maryville vs. Trinity game will be played at St. Mary's HS next Saturday.

Honestly if I had to seed Class 4 right now, I'd go.... Ladue #1 Smithville # 2 Webb City #3 and MICDS #4. No easy games.
From google maps looks like nice field but seating small. But if Webb didn't have any issues it must be fine.
So what's wrong with the Trinity's grass field that they have played on all season? Or is this a chance to get that speed on a fast track?
Their field is crap and it really needs to be replaced. In fact, they hold most of their practices on a different field on school grounds in order to avoid it. There is also rain in the forecast on Friday, which means the field will be treacherous come Saturday. Why not move it if you can? Hazelwood East did the same thing for their district final against MICDS. That game was moved to SLUH. This isn't the first time they had to move the game this season. They had to move the game to Christian O'Fallon High School when they faced McCluer South Berkely in the district semis.Another advantage I guess.

It most certainly does not have enough seating. The visitor's bleachers (if you want to call them that) looks like it seats maybe 30 people. You would have a lot of peiple standing, even those rooting for Trinity. Don't even get me started on parking.I don't think Trinity's home stadium has enough seating to qualify to host semi-final for Class 3.
It will be the same field Maryville played on in 2016 against Miller Career......they had chairs setting around the track next to the field as the bleachers were not that big either. The same stadium they refused to play the National Anthem at also. But the turf was nice.I don't think Trinity's home stadium has enough seating to qualify to host semi-final for Class 3.
After Saturday’s swampy conditions, it definitely would be something I’d want to avoid if I were Trinity’s coaches. I don’t know if it’s in the rule book but I remember playing teams that would keep their grass long or even wet the field to create a slower track. Field turf definitely plays to Trinity’s speed. Speaking of which, Ritter looked CRAZY fast vs Kennet on Saturday. You can tell they’re the defending state track champions.
Are you talking about the same CR team that Trinity turbo clocked last year? They did add a qb and a receiver, but that's not nearly enough. Ritter's lines on both sides of the ball aren't strong enough and their defense overall isn't strong enough. And before someone brings up the district game from last year, remember Trinity had like 2 or 3 weeks off before playing that game due to forfeits. Also, you are all over the place. You have said many times that Trinity is the team most likely to win but now you say CR will take them down. Which one is it?CR will take down Trinity or someone else
