IMO the best two teams in Class 2,3,4 matchup next week.

Class 2 LN at Blair Oaks
Class 3 Maryville at Trinity
Class 4 Webb City at Ladue

Lamar had a great run but just dont't see the talent on this years team to win next week.

Nah. Nothing is decided in class 2. Lathrop is playing into Lamar’s hand if they plan to run. Not to mention rain and wind is expected next week on game day. Let’s let the deciding happen after the 4th Q ends next week.

The winners of those 3 games will probably be favored but if Lamar makes it to the title gsme then THAT is the titke game.

Smithville started out slow last night, but once they got it rolling looked good in all 3 phases of the game. They missed on a few passes early that slowed down their offense. Warrensburg was pretty on dementional (run oriented) once Smithville slowed that down it was pretty well in hand.
Anyone who has beats Kearney twice and Platte County in a four week span will have a say in class 4!

Webb doesn't get healthy in one week, they get crushed next week, may anyway. But I would not suggest Ladue will have seen its most difficult battle. Not close after watching WC today and comparing scores, ive not seen so many mental mistakes by Webb in one game. I see no way thru Ladue next week, but with this game you just dont know till the matchups occur. Agree with blue and white, count no one out till the title game is played. Lamar better brush up a bit also.
Kudos to Camdenton boys. I thought they were as good or better. But I also have to say hats off the Webbs defense and backup running backs. You may not have had a single handoff for weeks but if your name gets called you’d better be ready. Great efforts from players who simply have not seen enough time for what they got thrown into today. They were ready.

He explained why in the OP. He may be right. Lathrop is no joke. That's the big miss in the OP IMO.

You got to wonder having no big game experience before this year will effect a team going up against the most experienced group/coaches in the state. Holt is a amazing coach. So the coaches are pretty level. I just think if Lamar plays well. That’s a factor that could play into Lamar’s hands. The experience part.

#1 WEBB falls to #3 with a win and another home game on the horizon. lol. .. "After hearing, and I'm thinking" yeah we all know KC area rules and dominates! Yet y'all talking about KC area teams beating up on KC area teams. Who does the greatest Class 5 team ever that will stomp cARTHAGE Staley play next week? I will take WEBB CITY, Lamar, Mt Vernon, and cARTHAGE...

IMO having home field negates that. Team that plays closest to a clean game wins. Neither are setting the world on fire in that category lately. Only two teams have taken a game into the 4th with Lathrop. Not usual Lamar types by any means, but this isn't usual Lamar. Keep your eye on the kicking game. Lathrop seems to have a long distance PK as he kicked a near 40 yarder at the end of the 1st half the other night with plenty of room and a really good angle punter.

I watched the SC game. A lot of mistakes early on in that game. So I agree with that. If they played a more experienced, and better team it might have looked like the Ava game with Lamar. Both teams seem to make them quite often. Lamar handles road games quite well. Lost to Cassville. But a healthy Cassville team would still be playing if they didn’t lose 3 players before playing MV. And 5 in total by second half. ( 3 of those players are top players on the team) It will be a great game. I’m expecting it to be a game until the end. I can’t wait to watch.

Grass or Turf field at St. Mary's HS?

Looks like turf.

I've been to a Lathrop game this year. They have a great offense. But IMO their pass defense will get lit up by BO or LN. Just not enough team speed.

So what's wrong with the Trinity's grass field that they have played on all season? Or is this a chance to get that speed on a fast track?

Another advantage I guess.
Their field is crap and it really needs to be replaced. In fact, they hold most of their practices on a different field on school grounds in order to avoid it. There is also rain in the forecast on Friday, which means the field will be treacherous come Saturday. Why not move it if you can? Hazelwood East did the same thing for their district final against MICDS. That game was moved to SLUH. This isn't the first time they had to move the game this season. They had to move the game to Christian O'Fallon High School when they faced McCluer South Berkely in the district semis.

Wasn’t complaining. Just pointing that out.

I don't think Trinity's home stadium has enough seating to qualify to host semi-final for Class 3.
It most certainly does not have enough seating. The visitor's bleachers (if you want to call them that) looks like it seats maybe 30 people. You would have a lot of peiple standing, even those rooting for Trinity. Don't even get me started on parking.

After Saturday’s swampy conditions, it definitely would be something I’d want to avoid if I were Trinity’s coaches. I don’t know if it’s in the rule book but I remember playing teams that would keep their grass long or even wet the field to create a slower track. Field turf definitely plays to Trinity’s speed. Speaking of which, Ritter looked CRAZY fast vs Kennet on Saturday. You can tell they’re the defending state track champions.

It will be the same field Maryville played on in 2016 against Miller Career......they had chairs setting around the track next to the field as the bleachers were not that big either. The same stadium they refused to play the National Anthem at also. But the turf was nice.

CR will take down Trinity or someone else

Are you talking about the same CR team that Trinity turbo clocked last year? They did add a qb and a receiver, but that's not nearly enough. Ritter's lines on both sides of the ball aren't strong enough and their defense overall isn't strong enough. And before someone brings up the district game from last year, remember Trinity had like 2 or 3 weeks off before playing that game due to forfeits. Also, you are all over the place. You have said many times that Trinity is the team most likely to win but now you say CR will take them down. Which one is it?

Trying to troll you two emotional roller coasters. Too easy. You guys are like my daughter with Justin Bieber. Nobody talks bad about him! Lol

Thanks for taking the bait

You’re hilarious. The only thing more entertaining than you pretending that I didn’t get under your skin is your “football expertise”. I’m happy to see that you didn’t disappear. You’re the gift that keeps on giving. Lol
