Remember Bernie Sanders was going to be the guy? Go back to February and Bernie Sanders was the apotheosis of all that's happened.
He was the pinnacle of this and was having rallies where he had indigenous people talk about how the rally was taking place on stolen Native American land.
Bernie was going up to the podium and apologizing about America's history. He was going up there suggested America's history was thoroughly corrupt and evil and had to be torn down and built anew.
So all the stuff about Mt. Rushmore and tearing down statues Bernie was ahead of that stuff. Bernie has already made his peace with the radical racial left and he made the alliance and then Joe Biden waltzed to the nomination.
So the old lie is, you can't win if you're a radical, but the radical left thinks, yes you can win. And they're going to use Joe Biden as there vehicle for winning.
But as Trump becomes more unpopular and radical left gains more credence in the culture wars the radical left has been able to say it can win elections on its own merit without the soft-pedaling of the people like Joe Biden.
And Joe Biden knows this and he's making overtures to the radical left. In the same way that Barack Obama said in 2008, he was very much traditional marriage, when everybody knew he was lying because he'd already talked about it in 2006-07 that he was pro-same-sex marriage. And then in 2008, he thought, I don't think the American people are ready for that so I will just lie.
So now Joe is asked about tearing down statues and he says, I'm ok with tearing down confederate statues but I wouldn't tear down statues of Washington Jefferson and Colombus. And this is sort of the mainstream America position. Is this just a holding pattern? Is he with the people that signed the harper's letter or he going set back and let it happen?
My bet is Joe Biden will say whatever he needs to get elected and he's not going to be the activist for traditional American history, philosophy, or culture.
If Joe Biden thought he could get away with signing into law a hate speech legislation he will do it.
If Joe Biden thought he could get away with signing into law slavery reparations he will do it.
He wants to be seen as an historic figure and you are not seen as an historic figure for holding the line.
The best indicator that he's not what he claims to be is what's happening with the Democrat party platform.
The Biden platform is purely ripping Bernie right now. Biden has picked up the Bernie criminal justice unity task force idea. Like word for word.
Biden copied Bernies' workplace democracy plan word for word straight.
His economic agenda copied word for word Bernies disability rights word for word.
Biden's SS agenda is copied word for word from his agenda.
So while Biden is posing himself as this moderate that you can feel safe with, or the return to normalcy candidate but that's not where this going. Do you know who knows this? Bernie.
Bernie was on MSNBC and Bernie said gleefully we've been able to shovel our entire platform into Bidens platform.
