The Federal Government doesn't have the authority to mandate nationwide masks. I understand we are way past the point to give a warning of constitutional authority that requires all citizens to wear an article of clothing, so this is silly. Agreed. But for the record, I want to note the Federal Government doesn't have it.

The efficacy of mask-wearing is far from settled science despite the way it's presented in the media. The New England Journal of Medicine that was published in May says it is not settled science. Wearing a mask OUTSIDE offers little or no protection.
Even if you are to succeed in getting 330 million to wear a mask, which you won't, good mask hygiene is a problem. Cloth masks must be washed in bleach after each use. How many people are doing that? It's not even close to everyone.
In reality, a large part of the population will be walking around with germ invested spittle cloth fixed to their faces.
But we live in a time of stupid people in our Federal Government. Biden/Harris are dolts.
