How can you lose a playoff game with Randy Choate on the mound for 3 hitters when he couldn't get the first two out and you have Martinez standing in the pen ready to go?

Freeman could have pitched that inning, but he is not on the roster because we have to have Wacha on there and not use him. This makes no freakin sense. The Giants hitters aint CRAP and we blew the damn game by putting in Choate who hasn't been effective for seven weeks. We just choked away the series.

I could go along with the ONE LH batter gig, but when he doesn't get that guy, especially when he walks that guy, you have to go get him. I know Martinez hasn't lights out good but he can get by with some mistakes because he throws high 90's and then some. He can't be watching the game from pen in the 10th while Choate is facing his 3rd batter with no outs. I really thought if the Cards didn't score in the top it would be Maness or Martinez in the bottom.

As soon as Choate came in I told my wife that he would walk the 1st batter and that he would score and we would lose. When it happened she told me I watch too much Cardinal baseball.

If Choate is the best we can put out there, we don't belong in the playoffs. We had a chance to guarantee a return to st. Louis and lost it by pitching randy choate. Profoundly insane. We get Bumgarner in game 5. So the pressure is on Shelby miller to bring it home tomorow. Brilliant.

There wasn't a GD decision to be made then. Defend the idiot all you want b/c of his record. Heck, don't take my word for it, check out what the national and local media thinks about it. They're just frying the dude today. And he deserves it. Btw, CRAWFORD WAS HITTING .320 VS. LEFTIES ON THE SEASON...AND .217 VS. RIGHTIES. And your boy brought in the LOOGY to face him.
