Steve Largent? Cookie cutter metrics don't always work the best. Coaches get stuck on an archtype...just like boys chasing girls, thinking they have to be blonde and 5'9.
I just watched his HUDL film. He’s a strong kid. Idk if his numbers in the weight room are accurate, but I wouldn’t doubt that they’re close to what he has listed. His speed, agility and running style don’t stand out and that (in addition to getting in front of college coaches at camps to workout) are probably what’s got college coaches skeptical. He looks very much like two 2018 Missouri RBs that didn’t get much love from college coaches either ... Cody Schrader (Lutheran South) and Cooper Lucas (Lamar). It’s not uncommon for HS RBs to get moved to LB. Maybe that’s where his future is?
