Can't think of any reason to give him another start but I sure wouldn't want him coming out the pen in the middle innings either. Surely somebody can fill that spot, or several guys when the calls ups arrive. Time give him his walking papers and eat what ever loss comes with that.

Offense has been the problem most of the time this season, that's all the more reason not to spot the other team 5 runs. It's not just Masterson, Wainwright has to get something fixed or it's gonna be a long September. Ya gotta think losing Wacha put a big dent in the rotation, even though we don't know how he would have held up for a full season, but other teams have had as many or more injuries and they're hangin in there.
