Truer words have never been typed before Raw! I know I have moments that I wish I could take back. That does NOT include the little "chat" I had with Stef though! He was a hot headed teenager who needed some discipline.
I'll tell you about our coach! After the deity of North Flaaaawda, lil Timmy Chokely from North Flaaaaawda Christian, nearly screwed our program back into the Stone age after three seasons of 12-18! Coach ProPst came to Moultrie in 2008! And at a PUBLIC high school, has mentored over 150 kids to the next level! In fact, his most recent QB and his family, relocated from Detroit to Moultrie, Ga., for their son to play for Coach ProPst! He went from being lightly regarded to having signed a LOI with the UCONN Huskies!
When Coach ProPst arrived in Moultrie, he was confronted with a program who had many underprivileged players, who were barely fed on the weekends, and after school! Currently, due to the toils of his wife and a group of volunteer mothers! The WHOLE team garners the advantages in strength and conditioning of having three to four meals per day, EVERYDAY! And when one or more players encounters issues off the field and in the home! He has a place for them to reside at his personal home, until conditions improve! He is not only a great coach, but a great mentor in life! He shows the travails from mistakes in his past life! And endeavors to show these kids the RIGHT way to prosper in their future!
His efforts have creative an educational atmosphere that has meant many millions of dollars flowing back into the community, from these kids who have gone on to further their educations, and improved their lives! Moultrie and Colquitt county have reaped the benefits of the toils of his entire family and coaching staff! Since his bout with and successful fight with throat cancer! He is a changed man in many respects! And the Packer community is benefiting from those changes!
