LSU has a new coach and every remaining scholarship player in the transfer portal, my how times have changed.
Hear today Dickey Nutt, former Ark.St and SEMO will be a new assistant at Mizzou.LSU has a new coach and every remaining scholarship player in the transfer portal, my how times have changed.
Wow, really? Haven't heard that name in a long time.Hear today Dickey Nutt, former Ark.St and SEMO will be a new assistant at Mizzou.
He's been with Gates the whole time at CSU. I think as a special assistant.Wow, really? Haven't heard that name in a long time.
I really like his game. Not sure how it'll translate to major college hoops. Not enough handles to play PG at that level yet. Not sure he shoots it well enough to be a legitimate 2 guard yet. But man, he's super athletic and just makes plays. And is really solid defensively and on the boards. Only in-state offer was MO State. Seems like Marquette has been his destination the entire time. Maybe why others didn't pay him much attention. If he's interested in staying in state, there's a ton of time for Gates to prove his worth and flip him. That is, if he doesn't sign in the early period. COMO is no paradise, but man, Milwaukee wouldn't be my idea of a good time. Especially in the winter. The Lowry kid from Kickapoo leaves the state and goes to Marquette.
Agreed, but that could change by next April (late signing period)...if he doesn't sign in the early period.I don't blame the kid at all. I would probably go play for Shaka Smart over Gates at this point too.
Another Springfield player is leaving for Milwaukee as well, Zach Howell of Springfield Catholic committed to UW-Milwaukee.I really like his game. Not sure how it'll translate to major college hoops.
