If you said Kyle Rudolph didnt commit OPI

He did but come on how often have they called that all year. Gronk used to get hit a ton with it because of how physical he was it is almost like big tight ends get away with less because of how much stronger they are.

Kittle clearly pushed off. It's refreshing to see them actually make that call for a change.

As opposed to other rules they clearly ignore? They had little interest in throwing a flag for holding on the Chiefs RT last night. Or offsides. Or false start....or......

The only non-call I remember was the late hit to the head and neck area on 3rd down in the 4th before KC iced the game. Heard on a sports talk show today that the head referee doesn't call those type of hits often if at all. You can't blame the outcome of the game on the refs IMO. They for the most part stayed out of the way and let them play.

I say both didn’t commit OPI. Defender put their hands on both first....Terrible call in big game like this..
Aukman, I don’t see much there that’s a bad call. 1 second later, Aikman, “hey NFL rules expert, what you think?” ...”that’s an easy call, obvious defensive PI”

My point is, they rarely called this throughout the regular season, then pull out the flag in a critical part of the biggest game.

I didn't really care who won or lost, zero impact for me. BUT the argument is that it's OPI as intended. Well so are the other non-calls in the game like the Chiefs RT holding the hell out of Bosa.

What's great about that play is that they'll be showing it for the next 50 years and debating about it. Over and over before every super bowl they'll show that play saying it was a turning point, then they will go to shots of Andy and Patrick, smiling postgame.

Kinda like the shots at the end of the highlights from SBIV we watch every year, when it shows the Viking cheerleaders crying.

That’s an odd twist. Guess we know where you get your excitement from...

Damn straight. For the last 25 years I've went to super bowl parties where there were no irons in the fire for me, until Hank starts matriculating in the pregame. I would shoosh everyone and we would watch the toss power trap, Kapp getting trucked, Johnny Freakin Robinson, and of course the ending with the crying Vikequeens. Its a ritual.

huh? You still drunk?

Kenny, its on NFL films. Highlights they show of all of the great NFL championship teams on super bowl week. They play them every year. SBIV is obviously a favorite of the Chief's Kingdom.

I could send you a link..

You have quite the history with defensive PI penalties....
