If you’re from Missouri are you watching the Super Bowl?

I'll be watching and rooting for the Patriots.

If you're from the St. Louis region and rooting for the Rams tomorrow, you're the type who hopes your ex-wife will marry someone more successful than you and be extremely happy.

Screw the Rams.

Would like to see the Pats beat the crap out of them like what happened to them in 85. I got pretty tipsy that game, don't remember the 2nd half. Strohs 15 pack. Also, a malfunction that electrocutes the Rams owners box.

Weren't the Rams originally from L.A ???? Seems to me they just packed up and went home.

When you look at the new $5 BILLION dollar facility the Rams are getting it makes the new high school size facility St Louis was proposing kind of a joke

As it turns out, I am watching "Mountain Men" and fixing squirrel gravy and baked potatoes .

Ain't even watching the commercials.

Ahhhh...Strohs ! Those were the good old days.

Yes they were in LA, then we built a new dome, they bolt from LA to come here. We are still paying taxes on that pos, then they bolt from here because we wouldn't build them a new dome. I'm drinking a few PBRs now. I could go for Strohs. The super bowl in 86 I had my case of Pfiefer, Minnesota beer, sitting out side and chilling.

The people who negotiated the original deal with the Rams made the mistake of agreeing to a clause in the contract stipulating that the stadium the Rams played in had to be ranked in the top 8 facilities in the league every year. With the new mega facilities that are now in existence neither the complete rebuild of the dome, or the new facility the city proposed would have put them in the top 8.

Yes, I watched the game on MUTE while listening to Game 6 of the 2011 World Series on KMOX.

It was beautiful watching the Patriots beat Kroenke while listening to the Cards rally multiple times down to their final out and strike to beat the Rangers in extras. And, that final FG fail by the LA Rams almost made me fall off the couch laughing.

After that, I fired up Netflix and watched "Miracle". GREAT night of sports!

NICE!
Had the game on --- muted --- music on the blue tooth.
Turned the TV volume up for the last five minutes or so of the game.
Leaned towards hoping the Pats would win.
Bring on some Cards baseball!

It was weird rooting for the Patriots, was never much of a Rams fan but when you crap on any part of Missouri you are pretty much dead to me. And as much as I love to hate them Patriots, what they have done is just amazing, like I have said in the past I think my hate is more jealousy, they are well coached and play hard for a professional team.

This is what I was hoping for.

EXACTLY my sentiments.

I felt the same. Go Patsies. just weird. PS: I know KC will not be taken fro granted next year. But can they improve that -efense enough in one year? I assume they are switching to a 4-3, it is my understanding that for an NFL 4-3 to work well you need a dominate Sam LB. Anyone know much about NFL 4-3 and why some are awesome and others are lame (beside the obvious of several great players)
