Sure all he has done is get a gazillion DP's in his short career. He even got the unconventional 9-2 DP by inducing weak fly ball to right. If the batter hits it well they score, they didn't. I have NO idea why the announcers were saying they thought Heyward was thinking about going to 3rd with his throw. He had in mind throwing home from the get go. I saw no indecision on that play. If he had any hesitation the runner would have been safe.Does it make sense? I don't care.
I would rather lose with Waino than Mr. BP.
Pitch to contact. Ugggggh.
Have to agree with 3r on this one Ducky his stats have not been as good this year, but he has been good more often than not. Chisek goes before Maness
I would most certainly keep Maness over Cishek. Maness has had a lot more good ones than bad. The ERA for a short reliever can skyrocket with one or two bad outings. Maness WILL be on the post season roster.Come playoff time it's the power arms than win. Good hitters own Maness. His stats are down. Time to think outside the Seth. Maness will now have two bad outings in a row, but when he finally has a good one 3R will say itoldyouso.
We need even more runs, it looks like Cishek has the 9th tonight.I would most certainly keep Maness over Cishek. Maness has had a lot more good ones than bad. The ERA for a short reliever can skyrocket with one or two bad outings. Maness WILL be on the post season roster.
Hope he is extra good tonight.Cishek = Maness. Both are left off my roster. And MM typically checks with me. So....
Lackey, Garcia, CMart, Wacha, Lynn (pen), Villenueva, Choate, Seigrest, Maness, Broxton, Chisek, Waino, Rosie...That's 13. Assuming the Cards carry 12, which I think is debatable...Who gets left off? I honestly think they might carry all 13, which is silly. Especially if guys like Holliday and Grichuck are going to be on the playoff roster. Hard to have two of a four man bench that can't play the field, and a third being the backup C.I would most certainly keep Maness over Cishek. Maness has had a lot more good ones than bad.
