I saw a lot of basketball this season, but "wow"

At the Hoops Midwest Spring Shootout today at CMU I saw something like Maravich would have done. A brilliant, I mean "BRILLIANT", no look pass from 6'5" Stack (Bourbon) to a close to 220 lbs Schaefferkoetter (Sullivan) running the floor in the opposite lane, catching and taking up strong drawing the foul. Both are 16 year olds. It was a side hand flip pass that you just don't see much at this level. Basketball purists anywhere would have loved it.

I'm big on passing talent. And creative passers like this boy are not that plentiful. Especially at 16 and 6' 5". I'm also impressed with good sized, athletic kids that age that can run the floor and have the perception and hands to catch no-look passes like that on the move and do something with it.

Thanks from Hoops Midwest (HoopsMidwest.com) for your acknowledgement of the fine talent on the floor this weekend at our Spring Shootout! There were some nice throw downs and lots of excellent ball movement as you mentioned. You could see that these players love the game and played their hearts out for 5 games in one day! We look forward to seeing them again at our upcoming tournaments throughout Missouri...
