I really enjoyed this interview.

Most stable country in the region and a worthy ally.
NO! WE are the worthy ally to them. They can't even keep the same government leaders more than 4 or 5 months and now Great Britain is doing the same thing.

“In the Six Day War of June 1967, Israel defeated the combined armies of Egypt, Syria and Jordan, capturing the West Bank, East Jerusalem, the Gaza Strip, the Golan Heights and the Sinai Peninsula. For Israel, it was a stunning triumph; for Arabs, a humiliating defeat.”

The USS Liberty incident was an attack on a United States Navy technical research ship (spy ship), USS Liberty, by Israeli Air Force jet fighter aircraft and Israeli Navy motor torpedo boats, on 8 June 1967, during the Six-Day War.[2] The combined air and sea attack killed 34 crew members (naval officers, seamen, two marines, and one civilian NSA employee), wounded 171 crew members, and severely damaged the ship.[3] At the time, the ship was in international waters north of the Sinai Peninsula, about 25.5 nmi (29.3 mi; 47.2 km) northwest from the Egyptian city of Arish.[1][4]

Israel apologized for the attack, saying that the USS Liberty had been attacked in error after being mistaken for an Egyptian ship.[5] Both the Israeli and U.S. governments conducted inquiries and issued reports that concluded the attack was a mistake due to Israeli confusion about the ship's identity.[6] Others, including survivors of the attack, have rejected these conclusions and maintain that the attack was deliberate.[7][8]

Yes they made a mistake. They are magnified in war. I mean the Libyans apologized for Benghazi and you was okay with that.

Steer, please don’t get me kicked off the site because you don’t like the Jewish nation of Israel. Jason Kander and I agree Israel is OK!

They are ok.

We just need to quit fighting their fights and funding their wars when they want to be treated like a big boy.

Well they sure are trying.
“National military service is mandatory for all Israeli citizens over the age of 18, although exemptions may be made on religious, physical, or psychological grounds.”

They aren't trying.
Name the last time they helped us when it wasn't in their interest.

And don't even get started about trying to criticize them. They were the first and still the biggest PC police.

Criticize israel? Gotta be racist.

It's silly.

You gotta be careful who you criticize or you are labeled a racist. Why is it different with Israel?

Some other boards i visit...they literally call some minoritys "n-words" and 'dindus' and things that bad.
Same folks as soon as someone mentions something about israel not caring 2 shakes about the US?

Yep: Anti-semite.

It's just silly.

You don’t have to explain to me. I have plenty of different people and types I struggle to love and understand their beliefs.

I don't want any group getting 'preferential' treatment.

The issue is what country do you have to bow down to if you want to be successful in US politics?

That is a problem.

And that has what to do with them being our great ally? We send them LOTS of weapons to do their fighting with and we sent them a missile defense system that saved their population much grief. A lot of our allies sent troops to Iraq, but not Israel.

Dude if you're a trumper don't even talk about Saudis .

Jeezzzzzzzz

We give them BILLIONS in military support. What do they do with their savings? They provide a universal health care system for all citizens. But that’s too hard for the greatest country on earth.
