This week there was a cop shot in Spingfield by....wait for it.....a gun! The gun was in the hands of a guy that has been in about 20 rehabilitation and correction facilities. He had been arrested for shoplifting and possession of pot 5 hrs earlier. They took him to the hospital for treatment of a knife wound sustained in the arrest. He was out on parole thus multiple violations of parole. The guy has been a threat to society since he was an out of control child yet the system repeatedly proclaimed he was rehabilitated enough for society when ALL signs said otherwise. Guess what, the law said he couldn't have a gun. Gun laws had zero impact on him since he got a stolen gun, against the law, and chose to use it. You can blame the gun but I think there are many more things or people to blame than the gun.
This guy was trouble from his youth and never displayed any signs of remorse or rehabilitation but we must never give up hope!
Wow, what a community. What are you trying to portray? We are wonderful libs because we have no signs in our yard and when we mow the yards the grass must all lean the same way. I'm glad I still have some freedom to do what I want around my place.Originally posted by Duck_walk:
If that was really worthy of an LOL, it must have
been one of those embarrassingly nervous LOLs.
Besides my community doesn't allow signs in yards.
I heart facts.
No, you probably dumped them in a ditch in the country.Originally posted by Duck_walk:
I have total freedom. I chose this place.
No one has old tires piled up out back where
you can see them from the road either.
Oh, I'm sorry. Are you one of those subdivision hobby farmers?Originally posted by Duck_walk:
I live in the country. Horses, barns, sheds. Just not trash.
At least in the St. Louis area, there's basically no correlation between R/D voting and ridiculous local rules about housing/signage/etc.Originally posted by Black&Gold82:
