That's not the same thing. The Russians did interfere in the 2016 election. They did not falsify votes and nothing they did was fraudulent as far as ballots go. They did try to manipulate voters in MANY different ways. They hacked the DNC, spread politically damaging info, and hacked others including Rubio.
That is not what the Republicans are claiming. They are claiming someone faked votes. The only person I remember claiming fake votes in 2016 was the guy screaming it now.

They made no claim of fraud! They pointed out Russian 'interference' in our election process. NO one says Russia tampered with voting machines or changed any ballots. They did put out a LOT crap on social media and attempted to change votes through those efforts. We can NEVER know how many minds were changed by election day with all the unrest stirred up by Russian military and their bots sending out millions of messages on social media claiming to be some group that they weren't. They even organized demonstrations about various things all the country.

I never said the Russians changed any votes. I do think they put out disinformation to manipulate voters. No doubt they ran a terrible candidate. They don't have any excuse for losing. But it is disingenuous to suggest Trump wasn't helped.

Well you can just read it again if you didn't understand it the first time. Trump voters came out strong as expected but the dems, and all the other folks that were tired of Trump's TV show, came out even stronger. If you think for one minute that there wasn't a whole lotta dems that didn't like Clinton and could not vote for Trump showed up this year. This was at least the kind of turnout we should have in EVERY election but it should still be even more.
