C3 state ranked Higginsville (Lafayette County) loses by around 20 or so to Hogan Prep. Games was 23-21 at the half. Husker Josiah Golden scored his 1000th point tonight.
C4 state ranked Richmond will play HP for the title.

Hogan is back, unfortunately for them they are in c5 I believe due to the success factor. If they were in class three they would be a tough out. They beat richmond by twenty in the Husker classic yesterday for the championship as well. They have decent size, really good Permitter guys, and are the typical athletic bunch they have always been.

Huskers defeated Cameron handily for third place but Cameron was missing a senior starter. Great week of basketball. Cameron lady dragons took 1st over Odessa girls.

Who is better between Richmond and Higginsville this year?

Huskers of course actually it will be a great battle each time they play. Huskers graduated two starters from last years c3 runner up team and richmond graduated three starters from their c4 elite eight team . It’s early and the classic didn’t really provide much evidence that separated these two great teams. I’ll always go with the Huskers though, so Others will have to weigh in.
