How we got here from a gun industry insider

Clearly this is a data less opinion piece from a NOW hard core anti-gunner. OOHH but he did use the buzz word weapons of war and fueling America's gun violence crisis. So it must be true!!

The time line is even in error....people where buying cheap SKS and AR-15 heavily in the 80's and early 90's before the ban. The gun industry is usually slow to adjust and that is why their campaigns still focused on hunting as opposed to recreational shooting.

The demographic changed because hunting is time consuming, expensive and often not viable for those without private land. Hence plinking and recreational target shooting became the outlet and norm for gun enthusiast. More gun ranges opened up, private gun ranges where groups could go and shoot became in vouge. Build up some dirt get cheap pallets and free tires and people could have fun.

Example: Daniel Defense didn't drive the market....they reacted to a host of customers looking for military Grade weapons ie.....upper and lower being of quality and strength at a affordable price. Nobody wants cheap stamped crap that has issues. They filled the Nitch in the market they didn't drive it.

Clearly this guy is a activist him and his son was at a BLM slash I can't breath rally. LOL And then he goes full on Lefty trying to demonize K. Rittenhouse when it was his fellow BLM thugs who attacked him and he rightfully so defended himself and proved the need for a Self Defense weapon like a AR15. .... Owning the Libs was his take from the incident oh my he truly is a a lefty partisan shill. I get why toot linked the article.

And of course right after that in party line fashion he invokes the Racist troupe, it's the same play sheet time after time. So predictable and it only plays to the Lefty's that read the drivel.

Then of course he try's to blame the gun industry for targeting people with gun ads about Crime and possible civil unrest..

This might be the reason that the gun industry is targeting consumers with weapons of self defense.

It's only natural to want a defensive weapon if you see city blocks being taken over by lefty wing militant groups or Federal buildings being attacked and under siege for days on end. Or neighborhoods being burned and looted in Leftwing controlled cities.

I get this author is a rich corporate executive who more than likely lives in a gated community with private security paid for by gun owners who can't afford such luxury's, and now he is playing the other side of the aisle and making money I'm sure as a anti-gun advocate.

I’m embarrassed for this silly insider who ate, slept, and drank the gun industry day after day for 25 years to believe he knows more than you about this topic.
