How many jobs are going to be work from home jobs

I see people say things like this, but this is a terrible setup for this. Kids at home, spaces not intended for working like this...people are going to have bad experiences.

Plus there's a certain element of "how can I move my career forward when my boss isn't here" that will always exist

I'd rather we focus on saying it's ok to work from home when you're sick. Stop being the martyr who is coughing two cubes over

the work force was already moving to remote, Microsoft teams has really been a game changer. I think this will accelerate the process and I have heard that from many.

I don't expect a lot of jobs to change, but I think this will change some. Will employers decide that some employees are not necessary when this over?

I was working with a wireless vendor, and in the last two days in our area alone they have had a request for around 6,000 air cards to support high speed data for those moving to remote status. That is one major wireless carrier out of 4, and does not include personal requests. So people are moving remote. But like Frog says some can't in manufacturing.
