Does anyone do this already? Obviously the NFL does and probably big time colleges. What about high schools? Any in Missouri doing it? Using them to view alingments, etc.?

Basketball and baseball use them on sidelines now...but more for stats. Have seen many video with them. Makes sense if you have storage options. Quicker upload to Hudl and what-not. No transferring needed. With the way games are recorded now (generally indexed as it's being filmed), shouldn't be much more than a software/app issue to make it available to view during games. Doesn't make a lot of sense to not do it, if you have the technology.

Having been using iPad minis for 2 years on our sideline and at practice. We have a coach film it from behind at an angle then show it to them when they come off or at a break.

Texas uses NCAA rules and cannot use the sideline tablets. It is just a matter of time I suppose.

I see some of the larger schools that have the budget for tablets using them well before the smaller schools do.
Don't need a big budget. Just a motivated grant writer.

Last year.... Still did not tackle well.. But had a return guy trip over one that was thrown.

All Monett high school students have had apple notebook airs for several years now along with the junior high. My son brings home a tablet a few times a week that the kindergarten has. It is nothing new.

I heard that the football team had a few tablets last year and was trying them out to see if they helped.

Is the state or federal giving them out if schools write up a grant for them? I could see them doing that if the tablets would be used in the classroom.
Ok...Motivated and creative. Tons of federal dollars available for tech.
