I know MIZZOU is banned from a Bowl but this question is not just about them. I understand that a team banned from post season play should not benefit by getting a share of conference bowl money. I agree with that. My question is. What happens to that money? Does the share go to the league. Or, do the rest of the conference schools just split the money with one less school to split it with?

a bs decision just cost mizzou millions. im assuming it gets split minus mizzou.

It goes to the winner of the first annual Stocking Day Game held on Christmas Day between Webb City and Joplin.

players from several years ago yes. a rogue tutor the school knew nothing about. they self reported it and fully cooperated as the NCAA desires. North Carolina conspired to make fake classes then won a basketball championship. fought the allegations tooth and nail with 80 million....slap on the wrist. nothing

Wouldn’t that be an interesting rematch. Forget the mizzou thing. Play the game, split the gate receipts to go to the charity of each teams choice. No better way to say Merry Christmas. I know it can’t happen but let a fan dream.

Wonder why a sooner fan is obsessed with the SEC and Mizzou.
It didn't sound to me like a bash on Mizzou at all, but more just asking a question about how conferences handle a situation like Mizzou finds themselves in.

I would imagine the bowl game revenue gets split amongst the eligible schools but I don't know that for sure.
