Trump hasn't done too bad with government subsidies, grants, and tax breaks to the tune of $886M in corporate welfare. But by God, we can't have poor mothers receiving $120 per month in food stamps.

We're talking wrecking the economy in a walk to communism while Bernie gets rich. It happens in every single country that adopts socialism. Do you not hear what he says, he wants to take over ownership of private businesses. It's not his!

Trump actually creates jobs and distributes wealth that is generated by his business.....I was a income maintenance worker and determined Food Stamp eligibility for the women you talk about and there are no Poor mothers that is just BS propaganda...you have lazy(refuse to work at their skill level or improve their education), irresponsible(,waste money on booze,drugs,cigs etc,take no responsibility for their reproduction or the outcome) . and they learn nothing or try to improve themselves because the Social safety net covers medical,housing and food. Churches,Charities etc. cover Christmas, school supplies, clothing, coats, extra food, car repairs. Naive people give them cash for bogus reasons that t hey spend on material things as opposed to necessary stuff.
Believe me they are grifters who prey on the system and the Easy Marks that believe their lies and sob stories. It's laughable at how ignorant the average Taxpayer is of how we have No poor just a class of shiftless people who live well of the system and the Co-dependency of other citizens.
Compared to most countries you are correct we have NO poor. There are people "down on their luck" and almost all due to personal choices. I would say there are a few who actually try but can't seem to get over the hump but, there are way more than enough willing to help in those situations if the government would end the handouts that enable.
I say that all the time we don't have any poor people in America just less affluent. When you poor has video games,smart phones, Nike shoes etc. there is no poor.
Do we have hungry kids..yep because their guardians are neglecting them and spending money on non-essentials. We also have a class of Homeless many who have mental illness do to the abuse of drugs from a young age because it feels great, but feeding them etc. won't help because they have no want to get help they just live for the moment.
You can't give away money and fix any of those issues. We've been trying to fix this stuff since the 60's with programs,education and handouts and it has done nothing. But it makes the Leftist feel good and they think they have accomplished something of worth. IT is comical.

In American we have no Poor at all....we have the less affluent. I know as I stated I was a Income Maintenance worker for Years. I determined Eligibility for EBT,Medicaid/Medicare,AFDC,etc. And we have No poor, Just Shiftless,irresponsible grifters who live of the sweat of others Labor and production. And then run to private charities and Churches with sob stories and Double dip.
We have Plenty of programs to help the Disabled, as we should. Go into renal failure Gov. picks up the tab.Go to any ER and you are treated you cannot be denied and if you can't pay the Taxpayer and Insurance co. pick up the tab in over charging others who can. You can actually get a check if you have Major Depression or are ADHD.....
What a Man you are for wanting to steal from others Labors and pick the pockets of those who have chosen to be productive. While you want to support and enable the Lazy vagabonds and make it easy for them maintain a High standard of living off of others just because they breath air.
This isn't the Charles Dickens time period. American has all the Safety Nets and more to provide for the Pretend Disadvantaged. Don't be gullible and see through the propaganda bunk spewed by the bleeding hearts.
Many of the poor in America are dying from obesity and conditions thereof. Nothing is perfect, even capitalism.
No perfect system 100% agree but it's the best the World has ever seen. The poor often purchase prepackaged foods, junk food, energy drinks etc. with their Freebies...Leads to obesity. Of course they have no jobs per say so exercise doesn't happen either.
