Hotels in Columbia???

I think the last time I went to a football game at mu was like 25 years ago

Are there any hotels within walking distance (reasonable) of the stadium???

I miss being able to stay at the Drury at the Dome in St Louis and not have to drive anywhere all weekend

Newer Hampton Inn just on the East side of Faurot, will likely fill up fast. Stoney Creek Inn less that 2 miles away

Waggle right in that the Hampton Inn is the only one within close walking distance. However, MU opened up unused dorm rooms this fall for football games, I wonder if they will do the same for the HS games?

Dorms usually closed for Thanksgiving break, those may not be though, good idea!

You are right. My grandaughter is a freshman this year and they shut everything down over Labor Day weekend.

~~~WCFF...... The Hampton is the only motel within walking distance of the stadium..... Now if'n yer looking to save $$ i'd suggest you checkout the Ramada Inn at the Jct of 63/70, about $50. Many other motels and eatin places in the area and only 5 miles from the field..
As a long time host of final-four games i've had experience at most motels in Columbia.

Here's the website. Looks like they're sold out on MU game weekends. But might be worth a look for HS playoffs. Supposedly two bedroom (four beds) suites for $120/night. Not bad at all.
