Hillsboro/Bluff Cancelled

Due to quarantine issues at Bluff, this game unfortunately has been cancelled. What will this do to District 1 seedings now....still waiting to hear on other issues going on that could impact seedings. Lots of ways to look at this I guess.....off week before week one of districts helpful or hurtful?

More than likely with 14 day quarantine period their season is probably over. They played a game on October 16 which means the earliest the quarantine could have started was the 17th meaning their 14th day wouldn't be over until October 31st. I can not imagine or would expect any team to move a playoff game off it's scheduled date whether it be a Saturday, Sunday, or Monday unless MSHSAA makes stipulation for it.

Quarantine is a bit different...depending on what caused the quarantine? It starts from the last day of exposure. So if the person or persons who was positive was not around the team say after the 14th that is the day the clock starts on the 14 days. So just depends.

this will be 1 of many district games that aren't played. The only choice is the team quarantining will have to forfeit to keep the districts moving.
