High School Football Stadium Food?

I've said it before and I'll say it again, after confirmation hot dog tasting on Friday night, Monett has the best hot dog in the Big 8. Certainly the best I've had at any other stadium we've played in.

I will pass this on to my buddy who was grilling for your game. He called me after the game and told me bad news and good news. Bad news was Cubs lost. Good news was huge crowd and they sold a boat load of food. ;)

Did you try the pulled pork Nachos? those are very good and that is fresh smoked pork we put on there.
To be honest, I had no idea there was another choice. I tend to be a creature of habit. I was planning on that hot dog on the whole drive down. I couldn't have given the proper attention to the nachos, as my attention was glued to the game. I can pay attention to the game and still shove a hot dog in my face. Hope your kicker is doing alright. I can confidently say that he was in the prayers of our fans and our kids prayed for him at the end of the game in the end zone.

I tip my hat to your hot dog cooking friend. Yeah, we travel pretty good and usually do a number on the home team's concessions. It's our way of giving back. Ha haa

Here is a question for everyone, when it comes to the concession stands who gets the money or share of the money, from your respective school? When I played it rotated every week, some games boosters club, some times a specific club ran it, and before every home game our football booster parents would host a dinner in the gym. OR is there any school out there that does some sort or odd/unique fund raising on game days? I know someone mentioned earlier about auctioning off parking spots, so that's pretty unique. Just curious, either way I am glad the money goes to help out someone!

Last week (and every year) at the Bell Game, Brookfield and Marceline always have a fundraiser cook off for the local FFA clubs. They also promote a food drive for the local food pantry as well.

Saw this story the other day. http://www.monett-times.com/story/2216242.html
I was excited when I saw that Monett is taking debit and credit cards at the concession stand, made the choice between a hamburger and a hot dog easy: just get both
