Hey now, not to worry. In the post this am Cards GM says we have a lot of outfielders who have been successful at triple A, and he’s not overly concerned about the cleanup spot.

I’ll be blown away if they start the season with OF options of ONeill, Bader, Fowler, Thomas, Dean, and Carlson. But that looks like where it’s headed. I don’t mind not resigning Ozuna, but to lose him without improving the offense is pretty bold.

A starting outfield of Carlson, Fowler, Edman would be 3 switch hitters deja vu Jerry Mumphrey, Tony Scott, Bake McBride 1970s (Lou still started most of the time) Cardinals when we never won a single division.
