I was actually thinking I wonder if there are any agents in that crowd.
As I was reading thru twitter both the Dems and Pubs I also wondered if all those people who seem to be trolling the Pubs and Dems are not agents. Most of those following the Pubs and encouraging violence have one picture of a beautiful woman. I would try to dig more into them and nothing else.
Let's face it a divided America is a weak America. This is how countries actually start to fall.
Maybe we need to seriously look at rewriting 230, these companies and we the people need to know who these people are enticing violence on social media.

It is already massively divided and appears beyond repair.....banning people from Social Media and silencing the voice of others is just the wrong tactic and shows a lack of basic understanding of human psyche. Sorry that is harsh but its a reality a basic cornerstone of psychological analysis and hope you can reason through this and understand my point.
If you continue to silence and ostracize the voice of the opposite side then they will continue to feel more oppressed, excluded and become more militant.
You give way to much credence to the ability of others to entice violence on a Social platform. Again what makes people angry is the silencing of their voice and others, the hindering of their view point and beliefs and this drives people to feel desperate and that turns into violent acts once they reach a level of despair and the feeling they have nothing to lose.
Continue to bans and block conservative's and the 70 million and the situation will continue to get worse..
Don't like the decisions facebook makes? Don't use it. Start your own since so many are 'angry'.
And what these snowflakes are mad about is their godking lost and they can't handle it. Bunch of spoiled brats that can't deal with life.
Note: They were carrying 'Trump' flags not American flags. That's where their loyalty lies.

I agree that banning and silencing aren't good strategies for long-term good-will and business, but these social media companies are after all, not government entities, and if I remember correctly, this same argument was used when talking about kneeling football players and the team owners' rights to hire and fire whomever they please.

Sure I wish I could hear and read nothing but the truth, but I don't think the government should get involved in censorship. Rags like The National Enquirer have been spreading unsubstantiated "news" for decades. If social media is being used to incite violence and criminal activity, then yes they should be held accountable.

I think however when people spread lies, like the election was rigged that is an issue. Example Again, to say I question the results but have no proof is one thing. To say the election was stolen and you have undeniable proof is another. at least in my eyes?
Exactly!! Trumpers will cite some instance they claim of fraud or irregularity as purely factual, but I haven't seen it myself. Then they will claim that the left wing media is suppressing it. I don't believe every newspaper or news media in the country would withhold factual information of fraud. All news outlet can't wait to be the first one to break a big story. But every Trumper is convinced they know for a fact that fraud occurred.
Trump enticed them to come Washington and march to the capitol, even told them HE was a going with them. They should have know what was up when he didn't show up right out in front. They absolutely believe anything he says. All those tough guys let a young woman be the first one through the window with cops with guns waiting on the other side. They are a hideous bunch of punks who deserve everything the law can throw at them!!!
The 42 year old was Brian Sicknick, he was hit in the head with a fire extinguisher during a struggle and died later.I forgot to mention the 42 year old Capitol policeman that had survived 2 tours in Iraq that they crushed between 2 doors and he later died.

I saw the other video of a cop taking a beating after I posted that, I thought the one in the door was the one that died, he can't be in very good shape either. There has been another death but I don't know who it was. Zip tie guy has been arrested now and a retired Air Force guy was identified and turned in by his ex, she said she was afraid he would be there then saw him on TV.
Any Law Enforcement member there as a member of that mob should lose their badge. Elected officials the same.
I don't use face book or twitter don't even have a account I'm just pointing out that this policy is not a wise one.
I don't trust the Fact checkers from any media outlet...let alone Social media platforms.

Social media is today's equivalent to The National Enquirer in the newspaper days.
Except a million times worse and is seen by millions more people. I've never heard of anybody that thought much of anything in the Enquirer was true. MILLIONS believe what they see on various social media sites and Trump tapped in to that via Twitter and they sucked up his lies and swear it's ALL the truth. Those that have know him all his life say this is DJT and nothing will change him and they've been telling us that for nearly 5 years now.
Did you post anything like this when Trump started picking and choosing who could come to his press conferences?
