Small School comments.

Vashon and St. Mary's and will win their district and meet in a class 4 sectional game. I have this a toss up but some say Vashon wins and play in the quarters.

Cardinal Ritter is a class 3 school--Has chance to advance.

Large Schools:
The top five schools are:
1. Chaminade
2. SLUH
3. Webster----C. Gordon will play @ Ritenour on Wed. 1-25-17 --@ SLUH on Friday 1-25-17
4. CBC
5. Hazelwood Central

If you are looking to schedule a game for homecoming.----Do Not schedule Vashon, St. Mary's and maybe Jennings--schedule all other ranked small schools.

Do not schedule my top five ( Large Schools ) for a homecoming game but the other five make the call. My reason for the above statement---Check out their strong tournament record?

Not that it matters but Hillsboro is 15-1.

Hillsboro and Farmington do not get the respect they deserve. I attended the Sikeston@ Farmington game last week. Farmington has a young team that could be a surprise team during districts and sectionals only. If Farmington gets by Hillsboro in the districts, Sikeston will be next if they win district 1. Farmington had major problems against Sikeston pressing defense. Farmington's bench appears to be a problems against a strong team like Sikeston.

Hey golfer, are you looking for an upset when Hillsboro gets another shot @ Farmington?

Farmington is a very good team. Can really move the ball around. I think Hillsboro gets them 2/17. If they meet up in the district championship (which they should) I think it could go either way. I watched the Sikeston/Farmington game on video. Sikeston is a fast team. They will be tough to beat.

Dude P.B. beat Jennings pretty handily the 1st game if the season, have they improved that much since then?

3Rfan, Poplar Bluff defeated Jennings easily @ Jennings. I'm not sure what happened in that game but their leading score did not play in the Poplar Bluff game. Their leading scorer is 5'9" Jr. Kyle Kounge who averages 18.5 points per game. Kyle Kounge was not on the Jennings roster during the Meramec Christmas Tournament. Jennings did not play well @ Meramec but the competition a little over their head.

Game was played in P.B.

@metro dude Kyle Younge of Jennings hasn't missed a game all year long

hoodtiger, you are correct. Kyle Younge has played in 18 games to date according to St. Louis high school prep.

Rumor has Sikeston @ Poplar Bluff next week. I plan on attending this game to see if Poplar Bluff is for real and capable of winning class 5 district 1 and a sectional game.
