On Monday of this week we announced Michael Wakim, Jr. as the new head wrestling coach at Helias Catholic.
Unfortunately, circumstances do not allow us to move forward with the position at this time.
We found Michael to be an individual who is passionate about the sport of wrestling and who values the students that he works with, whether in the classroom or on the wrestling mats. We wish him nothing but the best as he moves forward in his teaching and coaching career.
We are calling a press conference in the Helias commons for Monday night at 7 PM.
At that time we will share with you the vision we have for the future of our wrestling program.
