A high school coach compare his own player's stats to another player's stats across town in a public forum?

Is this a new normal I can expect among high school coaches?

Can't wait.

I would think this wouldn't help his status with college coaches. Meaning this could be twisted as if you recruit this coach's players, here's potential drama. Talk to coaches on the phone, not blasting someone else via social media.

You failed to mention the back story behind this. People have been taking public shots at Ritter's qb so his coach stepped in to defend him. All the coach did was mention stats and people are getting in their feelings. The stats speak for themselves and does beg the question why cook is rated ahead of hagens.

Stats aren't a secret. If your player is being talked about and people are saying another player is better than despite having much weaker stats, you have the right to advocate for your player. Stats are stats and should not be seen as a put down. He was not putting the other player down he was trying to take up for his guy like coaches should do.

Does this stem from the STL QB ranking BS on Twitter? Grown men and parents shitting on kids based on one man’s twitter rankings is f’n absurd.
