People haven’t either been alive long enough or only started following them in 2017. Fans are stoopid. “Fire Zim” is my favorite.....Oooook. Let’s go back to the undisciplined years of Tice or Childress or Frazier.

I’ve been a fan of the Vikings since 1993-1994. Other than the Denny years, this is as consistent with winning as I’ve seen them in 20 years. Can Zimmer win a Super Bowl? Hell, I don’t know. Could Bud Grant???

Fans should demand that a professional team try to win the super bowl. “Winning” is fine for a few years, but are you changing your roster or scheme to try to win the SB? That is what it’s all about. If you stay the same, you are getting worse.

Colleges are using tax dollars. They have to represent. Each program has different floors and ceilings. Mizzou won’t win the NC, but a coach there better win 8-9 games most of the time with occasional 10-11 win seasons. And the floor can’t be 4-8. The floor is 7-6.

HS teams? Is your coach putting in the effort to improve his staff, himself and his kids in the off season? Is he well organized in practice and a good game planner? Do the kids finish their careers glad that they played? Coach should never be fired then.

Ultimately Fran the Man couldn’t win it all???

Short answer is YES. Its easier to see now with social media... We can look right here.. How many times do we hear about of the greatness of the Chiefs? But its been 50 years.... They are hardly alone
I am a Cowboy fan... some of our folks are as bad as any...
And with the previously mentioned social media, we get to hear from the "weekend fans" There were posts on Sooner boards the past couple of days saying the Sooners need to fire Lincoln Riley. There are some real pieces of work out there........

Coaching a winning team looks much easier from the sideline, that is why there is less young guys going into coaching each year, and you are seeing guys stepping down at a younger age today then in years past.

Reminds me of all the people yelling for stoops to be fired every year as HC. And then they did actually run Venables out of town basically. The vocal minority of fans say the stupidest things usually.

They have had much potential as any team in the league. They’ve dismantled some bad teams this year. Had chances to beat Green Bay and Seattle on the road. Just can’t ever seem to put it all together.

Guess no time would be better than on Sunday at noon!
