I think you nailed a big part of it. These past two generations would rather be famous than anything in the world.
There is definitely a "fad" element to mass shootings that appeals to the mentally unstable. The media coverage fuels the flame. Report the news, but stop dissecting every aspect of the crime and the criminal's life for the next 2 weeks on national TV. That doesn't happen when 4 people are gunned down on the streets of North St Louis.
We need urgent action on climate change, gun violence, immigration, etc People have been begging for it for years.
Instead we get every red state jumping on legislation to do what 1. Limit voting. 2. Stop trans athletes 3. End the massive school porn problem

We do, but the issue with Dems is they just want to get rid of manufacturing in the US, lets send all that to China and other countries so we won't have to deal with it, let them pollute out of sight out of mind. But pollution is pollution, don't matter where it is.
I love how the Dems talk about pollution but under Biden coal is rebounding and we are now burning more than we every did under Trump.... LOL Dems talk a good game but who is rolling coal now.
