Just curious, has this happened? Looking at the parity in Class 6, District 4, could Lees Summit West pull off this upset?

Riverview Gardens beat Clayton in the class 4 playoffs when they were an 8 seed and Clayton was 1. Break a 20 something game losing streak for the View.

Simple answer, yes they could but probably won't. They have been in every game but lost a bunch by one score. I think they have kept it close because they expect to win. So far this team has just not had the "it" factor that previous West teams have displayed, but I'll bet you Jones isn't discounting them. So, while it seems a rather tough draw for a 1 v. 8, as a practical matter there is no easy draw in that district. Someone on here pointed out that literally anyone can beat anyone in that district on a given night.

Has a 7# seed ever forfeited? And yes I know Cardinal Ritter is a 6# and forfeited. But the solution just might be excluding the #8 seeds and letting them all play a cross game at the end of the year and giving the 1# seed a bye if 7# don't forfeit

LSW can definitely beat LN if they play like they did against Staley. Lost 4 straight since then.

2019 C6D4 toughest district of all time?
