Has there been any talk of Hannibal joining the GAC? Just looking at distances and opponents, I think it would be a much better fit for them. I know it has probably been talked about before, but is there any rumblings of Hannibal going to a new conference? I think the CMAC would be a good fit as far as common opponents, but those could be some long road trips for week night games in other sports.

Unfortunately for Hannibal...I don't see this happening because of geography.

GAC schools currently don't have much travel for any of their games.

Most of the St. Charles County schools think that Troy is a LONG trip...not sure they'd go for traveling an extra hour farther up north...especially for weeknight games.

Hannibal would be a great addition and a good fit athletically...but I don't see it happening because the GAC schools have been spoiled in terms of travel.

Not really, even GAC wouldn't be a great fit. They would put Hannibal in the North division and honestly NCMC is stronger that GAC North division.

i been saying this for years. Hannibal should go Independent just for football.


Schedule Both Quincy, IL schools, Troy, one of the Wentzville schools, Jeff City Jays, Helias, Either Moberly or Mexico, and if they wanted Macon, Centralia, Or Bowling Green.
