Can't remember who to thank for this suggestion...but back in the fall someone recommended hitting Hacketts while in Joplin. Had a baseball game there last night and stopped in for some wings. AWESOME. Had the "hot & honey" variety. Good stuff. Will definitely return when in Joplin again...Btw, first time to see the new facilities at Joplin too. Very, very nice! Baseball field is all turf, including mound, basepaths and batters box. Not a bit of dirt anywhere. Really cool.

Went there a few Friday's ago. Hope you tried the fried green beans.

They quickly moved to a top 5 favorite of mine. Somewhere behind Wobbly Boot here at the Lake, Pilot House in Cape, and Tractors in Perryville (RIP).
Ha Tractors good stuff.

If you're ever through Ironton try Bailey Jo's seafood and BBQ

Try the Eagle Drive-In on South Main....fantastic.

I'll go ahead and take credit for that one since no one else has stepped up

Since I'm just now seeing this, I'm taking credit. I know someone else called it but pretty sure it was all my idea.
