Appetite for Destruction is simply one of the greatest hard rock albums of all time, and
Guns N' Roses gets a lot of mileage out of the 12 songs on that album and the twin albums
Use Your Illusion I & II. They rocked and so did the concerts themselves. Awesome stuff.
On the other hand, Aerosmith, whose longevity alone and their ability to remain a touring
band 40+ years after their first album has provided them a fairly strong fan base...of yuppies.
I'm not gonna spend $80 to watch Steven Tyler strut around like a peacock to the multitude
of whiny power ballads they became famous for, for two hours, just so I can get 7 minutes of
the actual rock they were famous for in the late 1970's...
