I respect the mans service to the country. I also agree, as you know, that we as a country have a problem with gun violence.

Not hurting my feelings at all, I could care less.
Just that Duck usually post intelligent, well thought out reasons for his beliefs. These tweets are just someone else's very partisan opinion.
He's probably better known for his service in New Orleans in the aftermath of Katrina than anything else. He got that mess on the right track.
Just because someone kills someone doesn't make them mentally ill. Being consumed by anger can make you think irrationally but it doesn't mean you are diseased. All these killers went where there was zero resistance. Maybe it was coincidence or maybe it was planned. Think about it!
Here's the bottom line. This country kills more of it's citizens than most and kills more than any that have good laws to help prevent it. The fact that we as a nation can do nothing or should I say won't do anything to stop the killings is a huge black mark on this country and tells you all you need to know about money talks!!!
Miller I guess all these killers were psychic? They must have been if they KNEW no one in a theatre, or any of the other places, was packing. The guy that just ambushed a deputy sheriff did it KNOWING the guy he was attacking had a gun. Many of these killers have NO intention of living beyond their attack anyway. They intend to commit suicide, either by cop or at their own hand.

I think the idea is to get them somewhere safe and help them IF possible. TThis country doesn't do a very good job of that. I heard this morning the dude that ambushed the deputy had been committed at one time but was released after a few months.
This last killer knew the victims and knew they likely weren't carrying. Newtown....gun free zone. Aurora....no guns allowed in theatre. Columbine....same.

Did he know NOBODY around them were not likely carrying too? The gun free zone theatre DID have a gun in it and it killed some and wounded many others. If no guns are allowed why didn't anybody check for guns? Since most intend to die anyway they don't really care if there are guns or not.
He is entitled to his opinion, but why would a retired generals opinion carry any more weight than anyone else???
I don't know why you anti gun nuts don't just stop running your mouths and do something about your perceived problem. Pass a Constitutional Amendment to change our right to keep and bear arms!!!!

Only if you're in well regulated militia according the amendment everybody wants to quote, except for that part.
