That was my crowd roaring speech at the pep rally before the big Ampipe/Walnut Heights game. Everyone on here was a player, is/was a coach, and were all fans. We all have seen documentaries or movies with great pep rally, pre game, locker room, or post game speeches. That was mine. What are some of your favorite, real life speeches?

Your documentary was filled with great speeches. Your pep rally speech, Coach Nickersons pre game, and who can forget Stefs post game speech in the locker room. One of my favorites was my sophomore year. It was a pre game speech. We were about to play our rivals (who we had beaten earlier in the year) in the first playoff game. It started with, "Were about to go play a good football team." A lot of comparisons and stuff in the middle. It ended with, "Were going to go play a good football. Unfortunately for them, they are about to play a GREAT TEAM!" It was a good one.

Hey now, this just isn't an Ampipe thread buddy. My pep rally speech just happened to be my personal best. I asked for everyones best speech experience. Sounds like someone didn't enjoy the documentary. Such a shame

You know you remind of a guy from I used to know in Ampipe. He like to give stupid speeches that made a football game seem like it was the most important thing in the world. When its just a game. He had a dumb haircut and like to beat young HS kids up in a bar.

We are going to Keep these Ampipe threads going!! how are we going to do it? Together!!! Me, Bosko, Shadow, Tank, Coach we are gonna do it... TOGETHER!

I think you missed the point of this thread. Bosko asked for your best speech. I think he meant one that you gave or heard as a player, coach, or fan.....

We had just lost our second game in a row by a touchdown, both to state-ranked teams. We were actually happy in the locker room after the game when the head coach walked in.

He gave a speech scolding us for being in a pretty good mood. He finished with "you guys are too good to be feeling this way after a loss. Don't ever be satisfied again with just coming close" and he walked out with tears in his eyes.

We didn't lose another game that year.

Not a bad speech. I can see how you were in the moment! I think Boskos was a little better though. His had an entire town, school, and team fired up.

We can agree to disagree Draw...but if the entire town was in our locker room that night I would have been a bigger star than STEPH. However, you have to admit, it gave you goosebumps when you watched my documentary.

I never had goosebumps while watching your documentary. I actually fell asleep the first time I watched it. Your speech was good, but mine was great! My speech made everyone love the coach, then I got everyone to run him out of town. Not many people can do that....

I still sit on my houseboat and get chills remembering this speech!! Coach McGinity is lucky that he called me in at halftime instead of watching that joke Martel play another snap at QB! With the season on the line, my speech showed everyone that second chances are truly a blessing....
I mean c'mon... How many of you guys get to go home with a woman as hot as Annabelle after the game? NONE!!
