Greatest High School Game You've Seen

The board is too political lately. Lets focus on what matters, which is what is the greatest high school game you've ever seen?
For me, that honor goes to Polk High School Panthers in the 1966 city championship game versus Andrew Johnson High School. Al Bundy scored 4 touchdowns including the game-winning touchdown in the final seconds against his old nemesis, "Spare Tire" Dixon.
I wish I'd been there.


For me, the most exciting game was Staley - Lees Summit West 2011 Missouri Class 5 Semifinal.
76-70. I remember Iowa State pulled off a massive upset against #2 Oklahoma State that night at the same time.

Hickman vs. Rock Bridge 1995 at Hickman. Hickman won in 3OT’s with a Corby Jones five to pylon on a 2 point conversion.

Blair Oaks vs. Cameron 2004 State Championship game was a good one also. BO won on a pick in the End Zone to seal the win.

Maybe because I saw some highlights of it recently, but Branson's OT win over Warrensburg in the 1989 State Semifinals has to rank up there..

Hickman vs. Rock Bridge 1995 at Hickman. Hickman won in 3OT’s with a Corby Jones five to pylon on a 2 point conversion.

^^^This^^^ Tremendous game and the atmosphere was off the charts. 10K or so jammed into Hickman's stadium. It was awesome. My buddies and I got there at like 3:00 for our seats at the 50. Amazing how much free time a college kid has.

MICDS v Harrisonville 2004 State Champ Game...MICDS down 35-10 in first half. Came back to win in OT, I think. It was nuts. From purely a game perspective, it was probably better theater than the Hickman/RB game. But the atmosphere was lame comparatively, because of being in the dome.

Maryille at Chillicothe conf game 2017. Chilli won by shut out. One image I will never forget is our 130lb d-back hanging on to the ankle of the 220lb Spoofhound full back and bringing him down yards from the goal line to help preserve the shutout. Pictures of game set to music:

As I said in the previous thread, I went straight home after the game. I lived about 10-12 mins away. I got home at 11:50pm.

Great game.
I'm a Joplin fan, but I think if Carthage runs the ball up the gut, they win that one. Joplin couldn't stop them the whole game.
Great play by Holden Ledford to make the stop. He's one of many they're going to miss this year.
