Wow, coached in the conference, two different stints. Tough in the late 90s to early 2010s.

Brookfield and Marceline really positioned themselves nicely with this move. Brookfield could NEVER compete in the CCC as a whole.

Probably for the best. Let the 8 man schools decide what is best for them and let the 11 man school decide what the best for them.

2010 and 2011 teams were outstanding. Just had the bad luck having peak Macon and extremely good Centralia teams as part of the District of doom along with the awakening Hallsville.

Do agree this move will help them. Marceline perhaps, but I would think the iron would sharpen just a tad more in the L&C.

Brookfield’s enrollment is steadily declining as well which was a factor in the move. It wasn’t that long ago I feel like they where class 3 in football

This new conference will be pretty strong in wrestling as well

Last time Brookfield was Class 3 in FB was 1977.

When i was at Schuyler in early 90s Brookfield was Class 2.
