I say still sign Donaldson too. Miller and Joe Kelley for the pen. No huge, dangerous contracts. Can swallow the Fowler dump.

You saw JMart out there, right? It's not ideal, but he has played OF before. 180 or so innings over his career. If moving him to RF (or LF and moving Ozuna to RF) gets Goldy and Donaldson, I'm good.

Donaldson and Goldschmidt probably average out to around league average for 1B & 3B. Bader for a full year, a healthy (hopefully) Wong, and a healthy (hopefully) Dejong would go a long way to making the Birds better defensively. I think Donaldson and Goldschmidt would be a good bit better than JMart/Carp/Gyorko last year at 1B/3B. Not going to impress, but probably won't depress either. Marp's shoulder and Ozuna's elbow would concern me in the OF though.

Ozuna was bad enough. I don't even want to see Marp trying to throw a ball anywhere from the OF. Just watching him stiff-arm it back to the pitcher is painful enough. Does any MLB player have a worse throwing motion then he?
