Glendale Falcons(12-7, 4-0 in Ozark Conf.) - 74
West Plains Zizzers(10-7, 1-2) - 70 OT

Zizzers had a 33-22 lead at halftime. West Plains beat Glendale twice last season and had won three out of the last four meetings.

Glendale has now earned the #1 seed in Class 4, District 11 with wins over Rogersville (Rog was at less than 100% and recently defeated Republic), Hillcrest (87-55), and now West Plains. We don't play Reeds Spring or Aurora.

Super sophomores Jordan Walton scored 25 (three away from 700 for his career) and Monty Johal added 21 (three away from 800 for his career).

Glendale is now 39-8 all-time against West Plains (but 6 of those defeats have come in post-season play) and 22-0 all-time against West Plains at Falcon Court.

Should be an interesting last couple weeks if those three teams can stay undefeated in conference till they meet each other. Looking forward to some great games!!

Parkview beat Hillcrest tonight for the first time since Dec. 7th, 2007. Hillcrest had won eight straight in the series. PHS still has a big overall lead, though. 77-46 or 76-46. Rolla over West Plains 71-63 (the Zizzers are dangerous), POO over Lebanon 88-60, and Waynesville defeated Joplin 71-45.

Well, I'd like to join in on the hype for the "southside rivalry" game next Tuesday, BUT after seeing Glendale win eight out of the last forty meetings, I'm going with the Chiefs by double-digits. Yes, my Falcons pulled off an upset two years ago. That was a one time deal, as far as I'm concerned. I hope you guys enjoy the game, but I won't be there. I've seen enough losses to Kickapoo since 1996. I'll find something else to do that night (election returns from New Hampshire should be interesting.) Maybe if I thought Glendale had a change or if the more recent games had been 50/50 I'd go, but I'm not going through another defeat. I made the mistake of attending the Parkview tourney final and was up until 7 a.m. the next morning and I left at the end of the third quarter! No, it's best if I don't attend. Enjoy the atmosphere! It used to be quite something back in the day (mid-80's to early-00's), but when one team TOTALLY and COMPLETELY fails to hold up their end of the bargain, it's a little tough to get much of a crowd to show up when people know the outcome a year in advance.

I don't have much hope for the Glendale-Rolla game either. We'll see. Congrats to the Bulldogs on having back-to-back 20-win seasons for the first time in school history! I remember when Glendale used to have 20-win seasons. Feels like a LONG TIME ago these days.

MSU, it's not gonna be the same without seeing you court side with your camera taking vids for your website. If you do miss it than don't miss the Poo Rolla match up.

Well, I might have to check out Parkview-Waynesville that night. I'll consider switching games, though. Too bad POO's district is down at Branson. Might not matter in the end, because once Glendale's out, my season ends as well.

By the way, Parkview is pretty damn close to 1,000 all-time victories. Not sure they'll get there this season, but they stand at 992 right now.
