Glendale cracks the Class 5 rankings...WP drops out of Class 4 rankings..

They play this week @ Glendale.

Was there 2 years ago when Sam Hall fake spiked the ball and threw a touchdown pass to their big TE with no time left to win the game in the final seconds.

Don't think for a second Glendale has forgotten that.

Truly wish I could be there, but I'll be attending an SCA rivalry game this week.

Should be a good game on the East Side this week though.

Hoopes has ran for over 250 yds per game so far this year, I look for him to post another big game this week against the Glendale defense.

Might be a critical game for Glendale (not so much for West Plains). A win here would really set Glendale up to be a serious contender in the OC this season. The Falcons are starting (I hope) to come out of the worst run in program history (9-32 coming into this season since 2011).

I hadn't looked at the past with Glendale, I just knew that it was pretty even. Some good games in there. I went to 6 of those games I want to say.

I remember that 34-15 West Plains victory in 2002. That was the Zizzers first game of the season, as well as their first ever Ozark Conference game. West Plains finished 5-5 that year and 3-4 in the Ozark Conference.
They defeated a 6-1 Branson team 46-7 in the first round of districts that year, as well as knocking off 8-0 state ranked Ozark in the second game of districts(I believe that was a 24-22 win), before falling to Nixa 28-21 in the district championship.

Should be a good game on Friday. I'll definitely be keeping tabs.

#9 Class 5 Glendale(3-0) 48 - West Plains(1-2) 27. Lead the all-time series with the Zizzers 7-4.

Good first half, Falcons dominated the second half.
