Might be difficult to get these jobs filled if they shut down the state. May have to do Zoom/Hangouts/Skype interviews.

After 14 seasons as girls basketball coach at Helias Catholic, Alan Lepper is stepping down. The Lady Crusaders advanced to the state tournament this year for the first time in four years.

Saint Joseph Central Just came open. Class 5 district 16 champs who graduated just 1 senior.

What I have learned there was a little of that but parents thought he was to hard on the girls.
They were 16-12 and did win their district. If mommy and daddy thought the coach was too hard on their little darlings, I shudder to think what their reaction would have been if the could would have been the second coming of Bob Knight. Pitchforks, tar and feathers, or worse?

He has been there and built the program up, now they will be good so lets bring somebody in that will let everyone play and tell them how good they are! Crazy!!!!!! And Jared was a hometown kid too! WHat a shame.

Not to turn this into a Jared Boone post but yes he is a home town guy but he went to the "rival" school across town. So he was an outsider. He did not put a hand on a kid, he just ran a really tough program. After he was fired several former players and some of them college players commented they were disappointed. Saying they did not always see eye to eye but he was a good coach. These are girls who are "adults" whose mommy and daddy dont run their lives any longer. No back bone by the administration. Parents run the show at that school.

Unfortunately that happens at a lot of schools. I still say the number 1 rule to be on the school board is you should not have any kids in middle school or high school!
