This blew up on Twitter in Kansas City this week. It is absolutely insane what they are charging. My wife and I switch off, because it has gotten so expensive. Grandparents don't even bother hoping Baller TV is actually up and running. The one game days has always been the biggest thorn in my side.

UNBELIEVABLE what they charge now! Especially since they play 1 game on Friday and 1 on Sunday! Not only that, but hotels rates double and we had to pay $20 for day parking at one tournament this year... a day! Could not leave the parking lot either or we would have to pay another $20.. SMH

Hotel rates are cheaper. If you’re paying double you’re doing it wrong. All the stay and plays get cheaper rates.

Over-all if you look, they jack those rates up on those dates no matter the case. Even with the stay and play! Which, btw, puts more money into the tournament host pockets!

Stay and play definitely is not cheaper. Everyone lining their pockets.
And tournaments are held in cities where hotels will absolutely doubling their rates when a tournament is in town. Lawrence is absolutely horrible about this, always has been.
Hotel one weekend is $80 per night and on a tournament weekend it's $200 per night.
