Meant to post a question about this for you the other day. You think this is all due to them not wanting to start his clock? I'm baffled he isn't here yet.I guess it's not quite Reyes time
Could be managing his innings (get enough work in now, then go to the pen up here later.) None of our starters deserve to be benched so he'd have to start in the pen.Meant to post a question about this for you the other day. In the last start I read about he got knocked around pretty good. That might have something to do with keeping him down there.Meant to post a question about this for you the other day. You think this is all due to them not wanting to start his clock? I'm baffled he isn't here yet.
Didn't think he'd be a starter (except maybe the spot starts after the DHs). But thought he would be the best option for the pen. Kinda think that's where he might be next year too, really. It's worked before, putting a young starter there and letting him contribute while getting accustomed to MLB hitters.Could be managing his innings (get enough work in now, then go to the pen up here later.) Could want him working on control.
Might be but he got hit from the get go in the start I was talking about, it wasn't like he was good for 4 or 5 before they wacked him. He'll get to the bigs soon I'm sure.Didn't think he'd be a starter (except maybe the spot starts after the DHs). But thought he would be the best option for the pen. I meant the opposite actually - that they want him to throw 160 innings in total or something like that this year so he is more prepared to go 190 innings next year.Didn't think he'd be a starter (except maybe the spot starts after the DHs). I get that...just not sure I see him in rotation next year. I could be way off...but...Waino, CMart, Wacha, Leake, Garcia (option pending), Lynn return, Lyons is possible starter...Gonzales, Cooney, and Gast (granted Cooney and Gast are LONG shots)...And I sort of like the idea of a youngster starting in the bullpen. Reyes this year in the pen. Weaver next year. Pitching really shouldn't be an issue.I meant the opposite actually - that they want him to throw 160 innings in total or something like that this year so he is more prepared to go 190 innings next year.
