He must have the hots for Matheny's wife because at different times Carp, Wong, and Honny all needed a day off and we had Kosmo who MM won't play for good reason.

I don't know how long it will last but Piscotty is sure making the loss of Holliday again much easier right now. He may not hit a lot of HR's but Holliday has only 4 this season so I'll take the singles and doubles with the high average and Piscotty is much more mobile defensively and on the bases than Holliday even when he's healthy.

Did you see the stat about Greg Garcia having hit for as many total bases this year as a cardinal than Pete Kozma? It's incredible when you consider the number of at bats each guy has.

It's remarkable that Mo hasn't DFAed Kozma. He's bjust not good enough at the plate to merit a roster spot on this team

The only reason Koz is around is in case Peralta or Wong gets injured. He's played good defense for them in the past. They're obviously not confident in anyone else on the roster playing that D for an extended amount of time at this point. Garcia could and may work into that guy.
