What are some of your opinions on Games of the Week around the state?
Obviously, Webb and Carthage will be one that everybody is keeping their eyes on.
I'm interested to see the outcome of Catholic and Mount Vernon.
As well as,
Ava vs Forsyth, don't get me wrong, I truly believe Ava should dominate this game, just want to see how Forsyth does against a team with a good football tradition
Marshfield vs McDonald county could be a very competitive game as well. Last week, Mc County beat Salem and Marshfield was tied at half with Ava, but ultimately lost by 2 TDs when it was all said and done.
Lawson vs Lafayette County; Maryville def. Lawson 43-0 last week and L.C. defeated Cameron 42-0 last week, now I know Cameron has been down for at least the last couple seasons in a row, but will Lawson bounce back? or fall to 0-2?
Hayti vs Charleston; Last week Charleston lost by 6 to Class 4 Sikeston, meanwhile Hayti def. Thayer 56-14. I think this has the potential to be a very competitive game if both teams come to play
Rockhurst vs B.S.S. both teams took an L in week one, this is the game where the Rock needs to get everything figured out before Bentonville comes to town(a game which they won by 3 in OT last year)
West Plains vs Camdenton; Last week Cam dispatched Hillcrest 35-13 for the W, and West Plains trailed Waynesville at half 19-7 and then outscored Waynesville 41-7 in the second half for a 48-26 victory, at this point, I don't know how much either victory is worth, so I can't really get a gauge on either team at this point, but what I do know is that West Plains has won 3 out of the last 4 against Camdenton. Those 3 wins were all by 6 points are less and 2 of the 3 wins were @ Camdenton. I think this one will be a barn burner. I suppose we will find out tomorrow night. Camdenton will be wanting revenge for the 1 point loss to West Plains in districts after beating the Zizzers by 2 TDs earlier in the season.
