Will schools be canceling games tonight due to the court ruling today?

Why would they change game Times over a court case ? What does it have to do with high school football ?

Most, if not all, games scheduled to be played in St. Louis City tonight have been moved to tomorrow afternoon/morning. So far, no scheduled games in St. Louis County tonight are affected.

Safety from what ? They're kids who'd hurt a bunch of kids over a court case.. Guess i just don't see it

You should volunteer to drive the team buses through herds of protesters if you don't think it's a big deal. Think schools want to run the risk of being liable if something should happen?

Really name calling how old are you 5 ? I didn't know there would be riots... Sorry I'm not inclined to Riot every time a judgement don't go my way so i'd have no reason to think of it.

It's not every time, a verdict on a cop charged with 1st degree murder and after a 6 year trial. Cops in St. Louis are on 12 hour shifts and National Guard units all over the state are and standby, ready to be activated within 3 hours. Its been a pretty high profile case.

Don't feel bad, I do pay attention to the news, but yesterday I just happened to read a statement put out by a preacher. I didn't recall the story at all even after I googled it. I will say turned it over to Fox a little bit ago and it showed a helicopter view and the anti cop crowds were building and a number of business including Fedex had let their workers go home early. Glad to hear they moved games til tomorrow!!

The ones high as a kite tonight should still be asleep at noon tomorrow.
Not the ones on meth.............just saying. In all seriousness, as one who lived in the inner city of KC two decades ago and still pops in down there once in awhile, this is all sad stuff. Just like the high profile Ferguson case the officer involved has been exonerated. The MSM narrative that African-American young men are being targeted by the Police is about as phony as it gets. While these idiots protest/riot the rest of the Show Me State watches in horror and definitely does NOT want it in their communities thus you get what happened shockingly last November (Trump winning this swing state by NINETEEN percentage points). We cannot have anarchy and America must NEVER embrace it. Whew hopefully all this blows over the next few days but it probably won't sadly.

Not football related but the U2 concert in St. Louis tonight was cancelled!

Not enough police or security personnel available.

Sorry to hear. This was a huge event in KC earlier this week.
