Anybody on here that can say they thought in June we would be begging for as many starts in the playoffs for Garcia as we could get? I remember the discussion about whether or not he would ever throw another pitch in a Cardinal uniform and if he did it would only be to show he was healthy enough to be trade bait. I was among those who thought he would never pitch for the Birds again because of the way he handled his injury and going behind the backs of management with his doctors.

Not to mention he goes deeper into games than he did before the latest injury. Makes you wonder if he was ever fully healthy before.

Looking at Wacha and Lynn's numbers vs the Pirates and Cubs is a bit frightening.

It kind of sucks the 3 best teams in the division are the 3 best teams in the National league and only 1 will have a chance to advance to the World Series. That's not right!!

I think LA is scary with Kershaw and Greinke, but I've thought that before.
