put on them by the republican party and the states of Iowa and New Hampshire to back off on there rules about who can be in the first debate. They claim Fox was trying pick winners and losers by only allowing the top 10 in the polls to be on the podium for the first debate. They are in the process of changing/relaxing the rules so as to allow more candidates in. I thought the rules, as I heard them, were pretty reasonable. If you have declared but can't crack the top 10 why should they waste their time letting you participate and keeping the top 10 from answering more questions? Whoever hosts the next debate will have their own rules too.

If they let them all on the stage it will be a 2 hour affair to answer 2 questions, not to mention where will they find a stage big enough for all of them

I guess they should have 2 nights of debates with 8 candidates each night. They could give them points like a debate team in school then let the top 8 go at it in the next debate. :p

At this stage, there shouldn't be any actual candidate disqualified. They should have 2 nights with names selected randomly to determine who is which night. I wouldn't want to go the first night though.

The only way to do it, not that any of it is going happen, would be to sequester the second night's group so they don't know the questions or responses put to the first night's group..
